#6 was the last of the EBT's original order of locomotives, arriving in June 1875. She took over switching duties in Mount Union from road engine #3. She was the first switcher owned by the EBT and the only narrow gauge one to wwork the Mount Union yard. She was the only switcher in the yard until 1890 when standard gauge second #2 was purchased.

no photos of #2 have been found, but it is of the same design of locomotives later purchased by the Denver and Rio Grande and the Rio Grande Southern.

In 1900 #6 was sold to a construction contractor, prabably along with two dinkies retired from the RI&C tramway. Her final displsition is not known.
