THE EAST BROAD TOP RAILROAD'S 2002 FALL EVENT
Saturday, October 12 & Sunday, October 13

The East Broad Top Railroad owned by the Kovalchick family of Indiana, PA, announces the schedule for our annual Fall Event. Excursion trips from the original Orbisonia Station will begin at 9:30 A.M. and continue through 3:20 P.M. both days. The E.B.T. will be using one steam locomotives (#14 built Oct. 1912) which will pull a passenger train and one G.E. 50 ton Diesel Locomotive #M-7 which will pull and all Open Car, Shade Gap Picnic Train.

On display will be steam locomotive #16 ( built June 1916), heading an accurate recreation of a coal drag that at one time was commonplace here at the E.B.T..

The historic M-1 Gas Electric Car, built in 1926 on site in the E.B.T. shops will make two trips at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM both days.

Tours of the shops and roundhouse in which the M-1 and much of the E.B.T.'s rolling stock was built will be offered several times each day ($5.00 per tour, per person).

The Night Trains will depart at 6:45 PM and 6:55 PM on Saturday evening only. Approximately twenty-six excursions are scheduled to operate during the two day event. For your convenience, several food vendors will be on site both days.

No All Day Tickets will be sold
Tickets are available by mail. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your check made payable to the East Broad Top Railroad, memo, Fall Event. Be sure to specify the number and type of tickets needed.

The Rockhill Trolley Museum will use all operable equipment, a rare Brill curve-sided car, an open summer car, a Bullet car and work & snow fighting equipment. Our expanded operations include the brand new 3000 foot Black Log Narrows track extention. A One Day Pass for the Rockhill Trolley Museum will cost $7.00 for Adults on Saturday and $6.00 for Adults on Sunday. A full Weekend Pass is $10.00. (Please make separate checks for trolley passes, payable to the Rockhill Trolley Museum).

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT OR CHANGE SCHEDULE AS CONDITIONS WARRANT.

NOTE: The management reserves the right to alter schedules, substitute coaches and or motive power, as operating conditions demand. Also, the Railroad is not responsible for lack of sufficient capacity.

SAME SCHEDULE WILL BE USED ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7 (except no night train).
